Freshly detected nonsense

Biz Bollox

Self-help for the mildly unhinged.

We take the bollox people are told about work, life and becoming a better human, then gently kick it in the shins.

Two men. One mission. An alarming amount of bollox.

The short version

What the hell is this Bollox?

A ridiculous little world

Biz Bollox is a comic universe about the phrases, rituals, meetings, gurus, frameworks and motivational nonsense that follow humans around modern life.

Funny stories. Stupid characters. Occasional useful truths sneaking through while nobody is looking.

Our promise

No funnels. No fake urgency.

We keep things simple: meet the idea, meet the people behind it, meet the cast, read a few letters, and wander off slightly happier.

Behind the nonsense

Meet Andy & Shane

Shane and Andy in Biz Bollox comic style
The authors, allegedly responsible

Two men who have seen too much.

Between them, Andy Cope and Shane Evans have spent a worrying amount of time working with humans, helping people, standing in rooms with flipcharts, and witnessing things that really should have been stopped earlier.

Biz Bollox exists because work and self-help can be absurd, but people are still worth caring about. So the mission is simple: make people smile, hopefully make them laugh, and while they are distracted, sneak in an idea that might make life a tiny bit better.

Laugh first. Wince second. Think third.

Sandra, Second Floor

Dear Peter,

My boss says we need more alignment. Nobody knows what this means, but everyone nodded with the haunted confidence of people who need to get to lunch.

Ask what alignment looks like by Friday. Then enjoy the silence.
